Representatives of the Russian Book of Records confirmed that a record was set at the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH for the largest number of selfies with a book by one author taken by different people in one hour at one location.
In total, visitors took 541 photos with Lev Kassil's book.
The region's stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow also hosted the Day of the Engels District. Visitors were welcomed by a rich interactive program "My City - My Legend. The Way to Success".
The guests of the Exposition were introduced to the history of the city and the work of outstanding compatriots - composer Alfred Schnittke, children's writer Lev Kassil, artist Andrei Mylnikov. In addition, visitors could try their hand at sand animation and create unique paintings in Turkish technique. Besides, a real animation studio worked here.
