Mechanisms of personnel recruitment and building corporate culture were discussed at the Exposition
On May 3, PolitJob Career Festival was held at the RUSSIA
EXPO as part of the humanities marathon of the Digoria Platform and the Russian
Society "Knowledge". Representatives of large organizations spoke to
the participants of the event about the trends of HR policy in the social and
humanities sphere, aspects of selecting an ideal candidate and qualities
required by humanities specialists.
The event took place in Pavilion No. 57 "Education /
Decade of Science and Technology". The Russian Society "Knowledge"
is the general partner of the RUSSIA EXPO educational program.
The career festival was attended by Nikita Setov, Deputy CEO
for GR of the Polylog Consulting Group, Alexandra Frolova, HR Director of ANO
"Russia — Land of Opportunity", Maria Tsukanova, Head of the VCIOM
non-commercial communications service, as well as Yegor Litvinenko, Advisor to
the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), and Maria
Tsepeleva, Head of the HR Department of ANO "Dialog Regions".
"We have built a
corporate system for sharing knowledge and expertise. Every employee of Polylog
CG can approach a senior comrade and learn what they need, and no one will
scold or reprimand them for it. We live as one big family. Besides, there are
some regular formats where we share certain knowledge with our
colleagues," said Nikita Setov.
Deputy CEO of Polylog CG added that the company needs
purposeful and responsible personnel in the field of PR, journalism, IT and
emphasized that at the moment about 20 vacancies are available.
In turn, Maria Tsepeleva spoke about the importance of
higher education, as well as how to get a job for a person without experience.
"We have qualification requirements that assume the
possession of a university degree. The minimum is a bachelor's degree.
Graduation from higher education implies a system dialog. In turn, I note that
experience is an important point that we take into account when hiring. At the
same time, it is not necessary for a student to have a job in their field. If a
person has only studied and has done nothing else, it is hardly possible to
hire them. What is important for us in candidates is flexibility, adaptability,
communication skills, responsibility and activity. Our situation is changing
rapidly, the company itself is developing, and a young person must meet these
conditions," emphasized Maria Tsepeleva.
The head of the HR department at ANO "Dialog
Regions" added that 14% of employees get new positions every year.
Alexandra Frolova spoke about the mechanisms of recruiting
candidates to the company.
"Don't think that the selection process should be kept
short. The bigger the interview with a potential employer, the better. Ask
questions about the company culture, ask if there is feedback. If there isn't,
there is no development of the organization. I want to say that we are
absolutely tolerant of people trying something new and even if they make a
mistake, it is not a big deal. At the same time, we have a policy of "zero
tolerance" to repeated mistakes," said Alexandra Frolova.
Yegor Litvinenko spoke about the personnel policy of the
department and the criteria that candidates must meet.
"We are quite an open agency. Everyone is welcome. If
you want to develop, to make the country better, we are waiting for you. Of
course, we cannot forget that we are a federal executive body. We have a
competition, there is an opportunity to take an internship, but I note that
everything is clearly regulated by law. For this purpose, we form a competition
committee, which looks at the candidate in terms of their education and the
competencies they have," said Yegor Litvinenko.
He added that once a month, with the participation of Ksenia
Razuvaeva, Head of Rosmolodezh, awareness days are held to discuss the work of
employees and their efficiency.
Young tour guides participated in another session of the School of Young Tour Guides.
On April 27, a children's workshop titled "Sugar City" was held in the art class of the architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Experts of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" arrived in Moscow.
