Issues of regulating the quality of educational content were discussed at the Exposition
In Pavilion
No. 57 "Education. Decade of Science and Technology", an expert
discussion entitled "Infobusiness: How to Regulate the Quality of
Educational Content" was held in the lecture hall of the Russian Society
"Knowledge". State Duma deputies, representatives of Rosobrnadzor and
experts analyzed the measures to be taken to regulate educational content on
the Internet and social networks.
The event
was attended by Olga Kazakova, Chair of the State Duma Committee on Education;
Elena Grin, Deputy Head of the Intellectual Rights Department of the O.E.
Kutafin Moscow State Law University; Elizaveta Belyakova, Chair of the Alliance
for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment; and Svetlana
Kochetova, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education.
Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of
the Russian Federation, moderated the discussion.
"We
passed an important law on banning cell phones in classrooms. It was discussed
quite widely and was aimed at ensuring that our children did not engage in the
blogosphere instead of studying during lessons, which hindered their learning.
All parents agreed with the ban. We have also adopted a law, according to which
we will have a lesson " "Fundamentals of Security and Protection of
the Motherland", where we will also organize courses and modules in which
children will study all issues related to the information environment,
security, so that they do not fall for various fakes and know how to resist
them," said Olga Kazakova.
Svetlana
Kochetova warned against rash actions to buy trainings from bloggers who do not
have the appropriate education and can do harm.
"From
personal experience I can say that I subscribed to one blogger to understand
the processes of how business schemes are organized. All my questions were not
answered, her diplomas and other documents she provided on the blog were not
verified. Nevertheless, she earned billions of rubles, convincing people that
she has skills and psychological education. Yet all these people earn huge
amounts of money, hide their incomes, and control our minds.
I believe
that we should have a professional community that would filter and prevent such
people from reaching the masses. Admission to these activities should be in
safe hands," Svetlana Kochetova is convinced.
The
Continuing Education Forum, organized by the Russian Society
"Knowledge" and the Mashuk Knowledge Centre, is intended to become a
key platform for discussing current issues of supplementary education in
Russia. "Knowledge" is the general educational partner of the
Exposition.
Quantum technologies are the key to digital sovereignty, security, and breakthrough discoveries. We are not copying anyone else's path — we are creating our own.
