Concert "South of Russia. Premiere Marathon" was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
On June 13, the Exposition hosted the concert "South of
Russia. Premiere Marathon," featuring creative ensembles from the
republics of Adygea and Kalmykia, the Astrakhan, Volgograd and Stavropol
regions.
Artists from these regions presented their concert programs,
which incorporated traditional cultural elements in a modern interpretation.
They showcased performances highlighting the cultural uniqueness, history and
future prospects of their regions.
To conclude the event, artists from the five regions performed
the final song "Russia — It's Us." This performance included
participation from regional People's Artists and international competition
laureates.
Indian Slavist, translator and Associate Professor at the Centre of Russian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Sonu Saini visited the National Centre RUSSIA.
The event was held with the support of the Russian Military Historical Society and the "I Remember" Foundation.
