Exposition hosted a concert of the participants of the "Battle of the Choirs!"
On July 4, the Main Street Stage hosted a concert of the "Battle of the Choirs!" contest participants. Semi-finalists and finalists of the musical tournament, as well as the All-Russian combined "Choir of the First" represented about 16 regions of Russia.
"Exactly eight months ago, on November 4, 2023, on this very stage, the choir of a thousand young voices of Russia gave a start to this amazing Exposition. And here we are again! Our program was opened by the bright and unique Nansi & Sidorov! And also the brightest choral groups of the All-Russian project "Battle of the Choirs" from all over our vast country. All in all, musical groups and performers from 16 subjects of Russia will perform today," said the host, showman and singer Stas More at the opening of the event.
Collectives from Moscow, Yaroslavl region, LPR, Leningrad region, Nizhny Novgorod region and other regions sang popular and in-demand choral works, as well as participated in musical collaborations with famous musical performers such as Kirill Skripnik, Nansi & Sidorov, Miravi. In total, over 40 pieces of music were performed.
All-Russian contest "Battle of the Choirs!" is a cultural event that develops interest and popularizes choral art. Choral groups from all over the country take part in the contest. The event includes an intensive educational program for the participants: vocal, acting and choreography trainings, as well as excursions and activities from the project partners. The contest is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
The lecture "Come and See: The Feat of Newsreel Cameramen during the Great Patriotic War" took place as part of the "Thursday. Development".
The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo."
On May 8, the audience at the National Centre RUSSIA enjoyed a performance by a combined children's wind orchestra, which launched the festive concert programme.
