At the RUSSIA EXPO, the People’s Front discussed their work in conditions of the Special Military Operation
Representatives of the People's Front voiced preliminary
results of the "Everything for Victory" project at the RUSSIA EXPO.
Over the course of two years, more than 4 million people participated in the
project, as reported by Mikhail Kuznetsov, Executive Committee Chairman of the
People's Front.
Thanks to the efforts of caring individuals, 14 billion
rubles were collected. This allowed assistance to over 510 units, providing
soldiers with more than seven thousand quadcopters, fourteen thousand radios,
nine thousand sights, over three thousand generators, two hundred thirty ATVs,
twenty-five thousand body armors, seventy-eight thousand first aid kits, and
several thousand vehicles. Additionally, regional branches of the People's
Front received over eight million items, including dressing sets, warm
clothing, and more.
"These are ordinary people from across the country —
civil servants, doctors, teachers, and many others. They cannot stay away from
the lives of the soldiers, they cannot refrain from helping them. Thanks to
such people, this astronomical sum was collected over two years. To them, we
extend our deepest gratitude — they do not cease to help, they do not stop
despite fatigue and difficulties. They stand with our soldiers until
victory," emphasized Mikhail Kuznetsov.
Addressed collections on the "Everything for
Victory" portal greatly aid numerous soldiers, highlighted military
correspondent Yuri Podolyaka. Together with the People's Front, he raised 500
million rubles for warm clothing for the military, equipping over 35 thousand
fighters. Currently, the correspondent is raising funds for the purchase of
radio electronic warfare equipment — by June 13, donations for this purpose
totaled 685 million rubles.
"I believe that there will always be a need for this,
because each of these devices saves lives. Therefore, this is extremely
important," noted Yuri Podolyaka.
Within the "Everything for Victory" project, the
"Kulibin Club" operates — this is an initiative that assists in
selecting, testing, and setting up serial production of the best military
developments by domestic civilian engineers. This includes the creation of EW
(Electronic Warfare) systems, radio reconnaissance, drones and other armaments
and equipment. For instance, Russian engineers have developed a tourniquet with
plastic fasteners visible on X-rays to facilitate doctors' work, as well as
anti-thermal suits that are several times cheaper than foreign analogs.
Civilian manufacturers' developments are tested on test ranges, field-tested,
and the most successful ones are eventually put into service based on feedback
from soldiers. In total, over 150 devices have been tested during the project's
existence.
Another development of the People's Front is the
"Radar" application. It allows reporting sightings of drones,
explosions, rockets, unidentified suspicious objects, and activities of
sabotage and reconnaissance groups. All reports are promptly forwarded for
processing by responsible government officials. Since its launch, the application
has been installed by over 515 thousand people, leading to the elimination of
more than a hundred drones. "Radar" will continue to evolve by adding
new functionalities.
The youth wing of the People's Front organized a cyber
brigade that combats enemy actions on social networks. It has fifty-eight
thousand active users. Based on their reports, the brigade has blocked 142
YouTube Shorts videos, over a thousand accounts and 130 groups on VKontakte and
Odnoklassniki social networks, 105 public pages, and fifteen accounts on the
Telegram messenger. These communities were shaping a negative image of the
Russian army and state while spreading false information among Russian users.
Specifically, the cyber brigade uncovered groups involved in inciting unrest in
the Republics of Bashkortostan and Dagestan.
