The RUSSIA EXPO held an award ceremony for the winners of the Golden Teddy Bear National Award. It is awarded for the contribution to the development of the domestic industry of goods and services for children. A commemorative statuette was awarded to the heads of the largest domestic companies and industries producing toys, educational equipment, creative goods and other products for children, as well as to the owners of brands and services created specifically for the young citizens of Russia.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Denis Gribov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Priezzheva, President of the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises Antonina Tsitsulina, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova and other honored guests.

The Golden Teddy Bear annual contest is organized by the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises with the support of the Federation Council and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Over this time, it has become the main industry award in the country.

According to Liliya Gumerova, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture, the Golden Teddy Bear contest motivates domestic manufacturers to create quality children's goods.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who work in the field of children's industry - it is a very important and noble cause. In the Year of the Family in Russia, special attention is paid to the issues of providing our young citizens with high-quality Russian games and toys, clothes, baby food, furniture, books, stationery that meet the highest standards. Under the conditions of unprecedented sanctions, we have increased both the quality and the range of domestic goods for children in a number of areas. This corresponds to the solution of the tasks that were set during the meeting of the Presidential Council on the implementation of state policy in the field of family and child protection, dedicated to the support of the children's goods industry," said the senator.

According to Antonina Tsitsulina, President of the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises, this season of the Golden Teddy Bear award, there were many projects related to innovations, interesting design solutions, and the use of our cultural heritage.

"This year we had a very strong, interdisciplinary expertise. At the stage of public defenses of the projects in front of the scientific-expert council, the developers and product creators spoke in detail about the values of the projects, in terms of philosophy, sociology, psychology, pedagogy, and design. We want the winners of the Golden Teddy Bear award, our domestic producers, to be known in all regions of the country. In particular, so that their products are known and loved by our children, for whose sake and in whose name we work," emphasized Antonina Tsitsulina.

The Ministry of Education of Russia is working on creating a safe development environment for kindergartens, with the participation of various organizations, and plans to further expand the children's goods industry until 2030, said Denis Gribov, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation.

"The Ministry of Education of Russia with the participation of the Association of Children's Goods Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Rospotrebnadzor prepared recommendations on the formation of infrastructure and completing educational and methodological materials for kindergartens. We are now studying the practice of their effective use in creating a safe development subject-space environment for kindergartens. Also, the Ministry of Education of Russia is preparing proposals for the action plan for the development of the children's goods industry for 2025-2030," he said.

More than 80 organizations from 25 regions of Russia became finalists of the fourteenth Golden Teddy Bear contest in 10 nominations.
