Ambitious tasks of transport machine building discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The guests
of the event learned how modern production is organized, why digital
technologies and new materials are important in transport machine building, and
how the industry can attract young specialists.
"The
tasks facing the industry are really ambitious - import substitution,
modernization of production, increase in output, and much more. But the
industry specialists set big goals for a reason, because mechanical engineering
has a considerable growth potential. According to experts from the Institute of
Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the transport and equipment
manufacturing sector is expected to grow by 20% among Russia's manufacturing
industries in the coming year - that is, it is actually the engine of growth
for the Russian economy," said Alevtina Penkalskaya, the moderator of the
discussion, financial columnist at RBC Investments and host of RBC Markets
program.
The experts
also spoke about how the machine building industry can become a source of ambitious
tasks for talented young people and promising specialists in engineering and IT
professions, and shared career success stories.
"Despite
the fact that transport machine building is an activity that is highly
regulated and also largely organic from a technical perspective, the industry
is not standing still. In general, the main ambition is probably to preserve
the potential we have developed, not to lose competence in any way, not to
narrow the model range and to continue to move steadily in the direction of
development and expansion, research, modernization and improvement of existing
technical models. This is what we are constantly doing at our enterprise,"
said Andrey Abakumov, Director General of UVZ-Trans JSC.
Undoubtedly,
the main driving force of the industry is human resources. The experts spoke
about the opportunities that industry enterprises provide to young people to
form a personal success story.
"We
realize that young people need quick wins and a fast start, and we have
opportunities for this. We are ready to support and promote both upward career
paths and create conditions for horizontal development. Such opportunities
exist both for a career in production and for growth and development in the
office," said Leniza Khurmatullina, Director of the Human Resources
Development Department at PJSC KAMAZ.
Russia's leading scientific organization in the field of automotive development is FSUE NAMI, a research institute with a century-long history. "We have unique modern means of digital design, a unique research complex and many other capabilities for testing and research of vehicles, as well as implement promising projects aimed at creating new types of automotive and agricultural machinery that meet modern requirements," said Yulia Zaripova, Deputy Director General for Human Resources Management at SSCRF FSUE NAMI.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the whole period of the Exposition, guests are welcomed by cultural events, a rich business and educational program.
