On July 25, Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, visited the "Birth of Scale" architectural exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA. The visit was a part of the strategic session of the All-Russian Association for Development of Local Self-Government "Transport and Infrastructure".

Since the opening of the expo on March 1, it has been visited by more than 17 thousand people. It has become not only an important cultural event, but also a professional platform bringing together leading architects, planners, designers, students and all those interested in development of architecture and the construction industry in Russia.

Viewing the exposition became a special point of the Minister's visit. Irek Fayzullin noted the importance of the exposition as a space for understanding the scale of Russian architecture.

"We visited the architectural expo. For me, this is an opportunity to immerse myself in the history of architecture, including Soviet architecture, and to see how the scale we are dealing with today was formed," Irek Fayzullin emphasized at the end of the excursion.

The "Birth of Scale" display presents realized and conceptual projects performed by Russian architects, including internationally recognized ideas. The expo encompasses materials from collections of the National Centre RUSSIA, as well as models provided by museums and private collections from all over the country. Visitors can trace the path of Russian urban planning from Ancient Rus to the present day, and see the buildings that shaped the cultural code of the country.
