Changes in education in 2023 were discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
All-Russian meeting was held in Pavilion No. 57 at VDNH to summarize the
results of work in the educational sphere in 2023 and outline plans for 2024.
The heads
of executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation, who are involved
in state administration in the field of education, as well as heads of higher
education institutions, subordinate to the Ministry of Education of Russia,
took part in the meeting. The meeting was held at the Knowledge.Lectorium venue
of the Russian Society "Knowledge".
Deputy
Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova said that since 2019, 1154 buildings
have been commissioned under the program of school construction in Russia, and
since 2022, more than 3 thousand school buildings have been repaired under the
renovation program.
"This
is a large-scale program, it will continue even after the national project ends
in 2024. Infrastructural work has made it possible to completely eliminate the
third shift of education and curb the growth of the second shift", - she
emphasized.
Minister of
Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov presented the main
achievements in the development of the domestic education system at the levels
of preschool, general, secondary vocational, higher and supplementary
education.
"In 2023, important changes in the field of education were formalized. First of all, these are unified educational programs and unified textbooks. Moreover, laws on the return of labor education to schools and on the establishment of silver medals were adopted, a unified system of career guidance work was also introduced", - Sergey Kravtsov noted.
Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev said that about 45 thousand school facilities across Russia are provided with high-speed Internet, 28 thousand of them are located in rural areas. Meanwhile, Head of the Federal Service for the Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor) Anzor Muzayev spoke about accreditation of educational organizations and obtaining licenses, as well as about the deadlines for recently commissioned facilities.
Young participants of the workshop "Modelling — a Prototype with Your Own Hands," held on May 31 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
The award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 1, International Children's Day.
