On June 1, the Dreamers' Procession, organized by the Movement of the First, took place at the International RUSSIA EXPO as part of the celebration of Children's Day and the start of the Days of Childhood at the Exposition. It was attended by about two thousand people: regional participants of the Movement, honored guests with children, as well as about 150 foreign guests from more than 40 countries. The final part of the procession included a presentation of the launching of a capsule with children's dreams to the International Space Station, which will be collected until the end of the Exposition.

During the procession from the Northern Loop of VDNH to the Main Stage of the Exposition, the participants of the event united into five columns, each headed by one letter of the word "DREAM" ("MECHTA" in Russian). Each letter symbolized one of the key elements in achieving wishes: "M" — youth and wisdom, "E" — unity and like-mindedness, "C" — humanity and honesty, "T" — diligence and talent, "A" — activity and ambition. Numerous stilt-walkers, clowns and mimes, as well as life-size dolls of children's favorite cartoon characters added festivity to the event. And before the start of the procession children drew their wishes on the asphalt with crayons. Drawings appeared on the asphalt - spaceships, rockets, stars and much more.

"From the very beginning of the Exposition, since November 4, we have been collecting children's dreams — there are already more than five thousand of them. Dream, remember that even the smallest step can turn your life around. We will collect your wishes until July 8, and then they will be sent into space to be closer to the stars and light. They will definitely come true, but it will take a little work," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO.

To make a dream come true, it is enough to come to Pavilion No. 1 "First in Russia — Land of Opportunity", get a special bracelet, write or voice your wish, which at the end of the exposition will be visualized by artificial intelligence and then taken into account in a special system.

"I sincerely wish you to dream. Dreams are bound to come true! And here, in such a company and in such a team, there is a chance that they will come true as quickly as possible. We will jointly send all your dreams from Pavilion No. 1 into space and make them come true. But our dreams do not end there. We need to do it all the time — make the next wish and go forward, to be the first," said Marat Zakirov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First — Chief of Staff.

The capsule with the dreams collected during the Exposition will be sent to the International Space Station.

"We will send all your wishes that you will collect into orbit, and our crew on the International Space Station will work with them. And, of course, these dreams will come true! Dreams open new opportunities for us, so I wish each of you to dream as much as possible. Roscosmos is an alloy of dreams and technology, so everything you dream about will come true. The main thing is not to forget to believe in your dreams," said Dmitry Shishkin, Director of the Administrative Department of Roscosmos State Corporation.

The Movement of the Firsts Festival became one of the main events of the Days of Childhood at the RUSSIA EXPO. The theme of the festival was the dream and the opportunity for every child in Russia to fulfill their cherished wishes. The festival covered all regions of the country, and the main venue was the RUSSIA EXPO. A rich program with useful masterclasses, family activities, and educational games was developed for the participants.
