The National Centre RUSSIA has opened for visitors
The National Centre RUSSIA welcomed its first visitors. It began its work on November 4 with the International Symposium "Inventing the Future," attended by over 6,000 guests from 101 countries. Starting from November 7, the venue is open to all visitors every day except Monday, from 10:00 to 20:00, with guided tours of the exposition starting every 15 minutes.
"Our mission is to make a space for creative thinking, to inspire people, and to instill in them a sense of pride for our country and its achievements through new enlightening and educational formats. We aim to make the National Centre RUSSIA a popular and trendy destination for young people — a space where talents are nurtured. A platform where everyone can find opportunities for self-realization. The National Centre is open to everyone. We invite everyone who loves our country, is proud of it, and strives to make it even better to visit our venue. Like at the RUSSIA EXPO, all events at the National Centre are free," emphasized Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Just like at the RUSSIA EXPO, the namesake National Centre will host dozens of tours daily. During its first three days alone, the venue held 300 tours for participants of the "Inventing the Future" Symposium. The Centre employs 50 guides — all of whom underwent extensive training at the RUSSIA EXPO. These are tour guides who genuinely love what they do — sharing new knowledge with people in a talented and engaging way.
Anyone can participate in the tours. Simply register on the russia.ru website or join groups that form near the information desk.
The National Centre RUSSIA will continue the rich educational program of the Exposition. Soon, the "Open School" project will launch here, presenting the best educational practices in the country. The first participant will be the P. L. Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum. In February, the venue will host Russian Science Day, and in March, a large forum on the professions of the future will take place.
A rich cultural program will help to develop the creative potential of the country’s residents, popularize traditional values, and preserve cultural continuity. On November 12, the National Centre will host a unique concert, "Voice of the Poet," prepared in collaboration with Lina Arifulina and supported by PFCI. Contemporary musicians will present masterpieces from the golden and silver ages of Russian poetry in a unique format. For example, NILETTO will perform Robert Rozhdestvensky’s poem "Please Be a Little Weaker" in his own style, while Hammali will recite Sergei Yesenin’s "Letter to a Woman" accompanied by a Russian choir.
On November 30, the National Centre RUSSIA invites everyone to celebrate the birthday of the genius composer Eduard Artemyev. The New Year holiday season will begin on November 21, when guests will be immersed in a fairy-tale atmosphere, with unique photo zones, exciting master classes, and treats from various regions of the country. The exclusive production of the traditional holiday "Nutcracker" will feature the best soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre.
