As part of the third thematic week "Days of the Regions" at the "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" exposition in the National Centre RUSSIA, the Tula region will present its traditions, culture, history, achievements, and potential. From 16 to 21 September, guests can expect a rich business, educational, and cultural programme: a meeting with the head of the region, lectures and workshops, national treats, performances by artists, gifts, and much more.

16 September

As part of the day’s business programme, the following events will take place:

— 12:00. Plenary session "Development of Infrastructure of Student Design Bureaus at the Leading Universities of the Tula Region"

— 15:30. Presentation "Investment Potential of the Tula Region in the Horizon of 2030"

— 15:30. Round table "Increasing Agricultural Production by 25% by 2030 Compared to the 2021 Level: Challenges and Opportunities"

— 16:00. Meeting of the working group on integrating participants of the special military operation into entrepreneurial activities and developing mechanisms for businesses to work with participants of the SMO

— 15:30. Panel Discussion "Best Practices of the Tula Region Centre Hero71. Hero71 Project. Conversation with a Mentor"

— 12:00. Strategic session of the youth of the DPR and the Tula region "Our Project"

— 12:30. Presentation session of the regional development project "Space of the Future" (the cultural and educational cluster "Tolstoy" and "Tourist Routes within the Celebration of the 650th Anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo and the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of L. N. Tolstoy")

The events programme will include the following activities:

— 12:00–12:30, 14:10–15:00. Concert programme on the stage next to the stand of the Tula region

18 September — Day of Novomoskovsk

As part of the day’s business programme, the following events will take place:

— 12:00. Meeting with the Head "Novomoskovsk-2030. On the Way to the 100th Anniversary"

— 15:00. Expert session "Concept of the Project 'Formation of an Industrial and Urban Ecosystem Based on ESG Principles Novomoskovsk-2030'"

The events programme "Three Times — Three Worlds" will immerse guests in the atmosphere of traditions, allow them to feel the present, and take a look into the future of Novomoskovsk.

— 11:00. "The Past": "The Origins of Novomoskovsk: Traditions and Crafts" will tell about the cultural legacy of the city, crafts, and folk traditions. Guests will be able to make a protective doll with their own hands and see "magical" patterns on water.

— 13:30. "The Future": "The Energy of Discoveries: A Step into Tomorrow". Science, technologies, and experiments that shape the future of Novomoskovsk will be presented. Programme highlights: Air Hologram; Energy of the Future: Tesla Coil; Mystery of Arrows: Optical Illusions; Electricity in Action: Build Your Own Circuit; Secrets of Invisible Protection: Hydrophobic Surfaces; City of the Future: Models and Constructors; Light and Movement: Lava Lamp; Clean Air: Miniature Absorption Unit.

— 16:30. "The Present": "Novomoskovsk Today: From Resources to Symbols". Guests will be invited to modern creative workshops reflecting the city’s resources and symbols: making figurines from gypsum mined in Novomoskovsk, paper fantasy keychains, and souvenirs with the city’s symbols.

— 13:30 – 14:15/30. Concert programme "Novomoskovsk: Time of Discoveries" will run throughout the day, bringing together the past, present, and future to create a unified cultural space where traditions meet modernity and move towards tomorrow. The block "The Past: Folklore Origins" takes visitors back to the roots, conveying the soul and uniqueness of the region. It will feature folk songs and dances, authentic costumes, and musical instruments. In the block "The Present: The Voice of the City Today", guests will hear music that shapes the face of Novomoskovsk today, with performances by contemporary music groups and solo artists. The block "The Future: The Energy of Movement" will showcase children’s acrobatic groups and demonstration performances by athletes.

19 September

As part of the day’s business programme, the following events will take place:

— 12:00. Strategic session "Discussion of the Development Strategy of the Creative Industries" by the regional expert group for the development of creative industries together with ASI

— 13:30. Round table "Involving Cultural Heritage Sites in Economic Use"

— 14:30. Road show "Presentation of Investment Lots in Tourism"

— 15:30. Round table "Implementation of the Integrated Territorial Development Mechanism in the Territory of the Tula Region"

The events programme of the day includes the following activities:

— 11:00. Lecture on digital hygiene

— 14:00. Workshop "A Postcard from Turgenev"

— 15:00. Workshop "Painting a Filimonovo Toy"

— 14:30. Charity chess tournament "Chess in Every Home"

— 16:00. Workshop "Weaving the Chainmail of a Russian Warrior"

— 16:30. Presentation by the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency with the travel portal for road trips "Smorodina" 

20 September

The events programme of the day includes the following activities:

— 11:00. Workshop "Chalk on the Blackboard, Ink in the Notebook: From Tolstoy’s Problems to the Art of Writing"

— 12:00. Workshops "Energy in Action" and "Space Is Near"

— 14:00. Workshop "Virtual Robotics"

— 11:00–13:00, 14:00–16:00. "The Tula Region in Photographs". Visitors will be able to take a picture and receive a souvenir photo magnet framed with images of the region’s iconic sites

— 14:00. Gastronomic show "Taste Tula". Guests will discover the region’s specialities through the prism of local cuisine: gastronomic presentation "The Lunch of a Russian Warrior and Other Recipes from the Cuisine of the Kulikovo Field", recipes of S. A. Tolstaya reinterpreted by Just Wood country hotel brand chef Anton Krupenin, and the immersive tasting "Hospitable Tula". The culinary show programme is aimed at promoting gastronomic tourism in the Tula region.

In the educational and business programmes, the following events will be presented:

— 12:00. Popular science lectures by Tula State University and Tula State Leo Tolstoy Pedagogical University

— 11:00. Expert session of the regional working group and experts as part of the implementation of the ASI programme "ProYEDU po Rossii" ("I Will Travel Across Russia")

21 September — Youth Day

Guests will enjoy performances by winners and laureates of the All-Russian Festival "Russian School Spring", performances by children’s KVN teams, winners and experts of the regional student creativity festival "Tula Student Spring", as well as artists from the Art Residencies DKZh and Rodina (Runa, Stas More, Tula and others).

Throughout the day, activities and workshops involving young people and all visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA will be organised at the stand of the Tula region.

The Days of the Regions are held at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" from September to October. Guests have already become acquainted with the main landmarks and achievements of the Voronezh region and the Republic of Dagestan. The upcoming thematic days will take place according to the following schedule: 23–28 September — the Amur region, 30 September–5 October — the Jewish Autonomous Region, 7–12 October — the Chelyabinsk region, and 14–19 October — the Nenets Autonomous Area.

The exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA combines historical legacy and modern technologies: at interactive stands, visitors can take a virtual journey across the regions, explore their economic and tourist potential, and even try out professions of the future. All events at the National Centre RUSSIA are free of charge, with some requiring prior registration on the website russia.ru.
