The National Centre RUSSIA welcomes delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan
A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by
Sherzod Asadov, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential
Administration and Press Secretary to the President, visited the National
Centre RUSSIA. During the visit, the guests explored the Centre's expositions
and discussed potential future joint projects.
As part of the visit, a working meeting was held with
Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Natalia Virtuozova. The parties
discussed prospective projects and exchanged views on the recent industrial
trade fair held in Tashkent.
"We are delighted to welcome our friends from
Uzbekistan to the National Centre RUSSIA. Just recently, our team took part in
the "INNOPROM. Central Asia" International Industrial Trade Fair in
Tashkent, where we presented the culture, traditions and crafts of Russia's
regions. That trip once again demonstrated how much our peoples have in common:
respect for family, love for our history and a shared desire to preserve our
legacy for future generations. The National Centre was created as a space for
open dialogue, showcasing achievements and bringing new ideas to life. I would
like to thank the Uzbek delegation for their visit. We have joint projects in
the pipeline that will help expand cultural exchange and create even more
opportunities for cooperation," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General
of the National Centre RUSSIA.
During the visit, the delegation toured the "Space of Opportunities" area, where Hero of the Russian Federation, participant in the presidential personnel programme "Time of Heroes" and Chair of the Board of the Movement of the First, Artur Orlov, presented projects aimed at youth development and patriotic education. The delegation then visited the "Journey Across Russia" exposition. Along the route, guests explored the achievements and unique features of all eight federal districts of Russia and learned about the country's natural, cultural and industrial diversity. The delegation also visited the "Geography Lessons" exposition, a true journey through the centuries.
The Uzbek delegation also included Akramjon Fozilov, First
Deputy Head of the Communications Department; Rustam Kamilov, Deputy Adviser to
the President; directors of specialised centres under the Presidential
Administration; and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of
Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation.
Following the visit, the delegation highly praised the level
of organisation and expressed interest in further strengthening bilateral
cultural and communications projects.
