The National Centre RUSSIA continues its series of off-site excursions
The
National Centre RUSSIA is continuing its series of off-site excursions to
educational and rehabilitation centres in Moscow. The latest excursion took
place at Rehabilitation and Education Centre No. 7.
Tour guides
from the National Centre RUSSIA presented children with items from the Hall of
Inventions. For students who, for various reasons, were unable to visit the
"Inventing the Future" exposition, a specially designed program was
offered in a format comfortable for schoolchildren, taking into account their
health conditions.
"We
were delighted to welcome such esteemed guests as the National Centre RUSSIA
with the wonderful project 'Inventing the Future.' Examples set by science
fiction writers can serve as role models for our children, showing them that
dreams do come true. The children greatly enjoyed the journey through the
history of our great country because those who do not remember the past have no
future. These meetings help children see how imagination and reality
intertwine, creating new opportunities for their future," said Svetlana
Voitas, Director of Rehabilitation and Education Centre No. 7.
Participants
of the off-site excursion learned how science fiction is connected to real
discoveries and inventions. The children were told how the ideas of great
writers inspired scientists to create rockets, mobile phones, robots, and other
technologies that have changed our lives.
The program
for the children was presented by tour guides from the National Centre RUSSIA:
Dmitry Tyrkov, Natalia Didenko, Antonina Mazerinskaya, Marianna Sizova, and
Alexandra Talpa.
The meeting "Literary Club. Paradoxes of the Fantastic and the Real," dedicated to science fiction, was held on February 20 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On March 1, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the opening of the "Birth of Scale" exposition, dedicated to Russian architecture and urban planners.
