The National Centre RUSSIA conducted its third off-site tour for young patients of rehabilitation centres
This project was launched by the National Centre RUSSIA in cooperation with the Department of Good Deeds (Department of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Moscow). Off-site tours for rehabilitation and educational centres of Moscow and the Moscow region are held in a comfortable format for children, taking into account their health conditions.
Guides from the National Centre RUSSIA present the young patients with the heritage of the "Inventing the Future" exposition. In addition, the children are shown items brought from the Hall of Inventions and are told how science fiction relates to real discoveries. This way, children who, for various reasons, were unable to visit the exposition get acquainted with the exposition. The first off-site tour of the National Centre RUSSIA took place at the Social Integration Centre of Diana Gurtskaya.
The second off-site tour took place on February 12 at the Rehabilitation Boarding School No. 32. Three groups of children participated in the event: the 3rd, 6th, and 7th grades, along with their caregivers and teachers, totaling 60 people. According to the guides, the session was memorable for the children.
"The children really enjoyed the tour, especially the topic of space and the android robot. We did some exercises, repeated after the robot, launched a rocket into space, studied its components, and listened to the famous recording of Yuri Gagarin saying Let’s Go!'" — shared the guides.
The project will continue in other rehabilitation and educational centres.
