Today, on 16 December, the official opening of a branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will take place in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra. It is timed to coincide with the 95th anniversary of the region. The new venue is being established by order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Its goal is to demonstrate the country's most important achievements, strengthen national identity, foster a sense of pride in Russia among citizens, and develop the professional skills of children and youth.

Yugra is among five Russian regions where branches of the National Centre are being created as a matter of priority. The opening of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra will continue the implementation and development of a concept based on the rich history of the region, its current achievements and future development plans.

The total area of the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra is over 6,000 square metres. The key exposition is "See Yugra — Fall in Love with Russia!". The exposition combines the historical, cultural, and contemporary achievements of the region, fostering a sense of pride in Yugra and engaging visitors of different ages and statuses. The exposition blends classical and digital formats, and interactive solutions that support different ways of perceiving information. The exposition includes several halls: an introductory hall, which serves as a conceptual prologue; the "Pride Through Time" hall; the "Dialogue of Nature and Humanity" hall; the "Hearth of Legends" hall; the "Pride of the Future" hall; the cinema hall "Flight Over Yugra"; and a temporary expositions hall.
