The National Centre RUSSIA is launching a podcast series titled "Tell Me About Victory" in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
The National Centre RUSSIA is presenting a new project — the podcast series "Tell Me About Victory," dedicated to the heroes whose feats will forever remain in the memory of generations.
The main heroes of the podcasts are our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers, who went to the front, defended the Motherland, worked in the rear, saved the wounded, bringing Victory closer. These are personal stories of courage, selflessness, and faith in the future that they fought to secure for us.
Guests of the podcasts include the children and grandchildren of military commanders, Heroes of the Soviet Union, who share family memories, talk about the feats of their relatives, their military service, frontline letters, medals, and post-war life. These stories are the voice of living memory, a sincere and deeply human view of the Great Victory.
The episodes will be released daily from May 2 to May 11. The first episode features Natalia Koneva, daughter of Marshal of the Soviet Union Ivan Konev. She talks about how her father commanded the front, narrowly avoided a tribunal, and celebrated Victory in Prague. Additionally, she shares memories of what he was like as a father.
The host of the "Tell Me About Victory" podcast, schoolgirl Nicole Pliev, talks about her great-uncle, General Issa Pliev. He was a legendary Soviet commander who heroically fought in the Civil War, the Russo-Japanese War, and the Great Patriotic War.
Dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and to the heroes whose feats will forever remain in the memory of generations.
