The "Birth of Scale" architectural exposition held by the National Centre RUSSIA is ending
The National Centre RUSSIA is closing down the "Birth of Scale" architectural exposition which has become a significant professional platform and a vibrant cultural event during its work. The display, which combined models of iconic Russian projects and unrealized architectural ideas, aroused great interest among both specialists and the general public keen on architecture, design and urban planning.
According to the tour service of the National Centre RUSSIA, the most part of visitors were residents of Moscow and the Moscow region. The second place among the visitors is taken by guests from the Donetsk People's Republic, who are followed by representatives of the Lugansk People's Republic, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. Tourist groups from the cities of Yaroslavl and Vladimir were especially eager to visit the display. Their activeness noticeably increased in the summer.
July 30 is the last day of the expositions' work. A chain of final events will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA on this day.
11:00 a.m. — around table "The Architectural Code of the Modern Russia".
Leading industry experts will summarize the results of the display and discuss the prospects for Russian architecture development. Special attention will be paid to working out the unified approaches to urban planning, visual codes and architectural identity as foundations of the sustainable urban development. Among the topics for discussion there will be the impact of the urban environment on demographic processes, implementation of the President's instructions to preserve the identity of architecture, and the role of project culture in the regions' development.
11:00 a.m. — a panel discussion "Architecture of the Future: Trends and Forecasts for 2050".
Experts from Russia, India, South Africa and Egypt will share their vision of architecture as a space for social interaction of the future.

14:00 — a panel discussion"International Architectural Expositions: Relevance, Problems, Tasks".
International and Russian experts will discuss the role of expositions as instruments of professional and cultural dialogue.

18:00 — closing ceremony of the display.
Andrey Chernikhov, curator of the "Birth of Scale" and architect,will speak together with other co-curators of the project. Guests will be able to look at the exposition one more time. The "Birth of Scale" has become one of the most striking architectural events of the year.
