02.08.2025

The National Centre RUSSIA introduces a new educational format — the Russia Speaks podcast, where key issues about the future of medicine, science, and technology are discussed. In the first episode, Komsomolskaya Pravda radio host Anzhelika Kiryan interviews Doctor of Biological Sciences and Moscow State University professor Vyacheslav Dubynin.

The discussion covers crucial topics, including human brain research and the exciting prospects ahead for scientists. Vyacheslav Dubynin shares insights on the current state of brain studies and the challenges that remain. The host and expert also explore the topic of future planning.

Special attention is given to how humans have evolved over the centuries and the differences between modern people and their ancestors from a neurological perspective. The podcast also delves into artificial intelligence: will AI surpass the human brain? What risks and opportunities does this technology present? All this and more in the first episode of Russia Speaks.

The episode is available for listening and viewing on the National Centre’s VKontakte community and official website.
