National project "Tourism and Hospitality": investment potential of the Tula region’s tourism sector presented at the National Centre RUSSIA
The Tula Region Days continue at the National Centre RUSSIA. On 19 September, as part of the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future", a presentation of the region’s tourism investment lots took place.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, federal and regional development institutions, key investors, and leading figures from the hotel business.
In an open dialogue format, participants were presented with information on the tourism potential and investment sites of the Tula region: tourist routes, areas suitable for multifunctional roadside complexes, cultural heritage sites promising for the development of tourism infrastructure, and land plots for tourism projects.
"At the presentation, current and potential investors were reminded of the support measures available under the national project 'Tourism and Hospitality', as well as the tools of DOM.RF Bank and the SME Corporation. On the instruction of Governor Dmitry Milyaev, the Tula region is creating conditions that promote a favourable investment climate in the region. We also paid special attention to the development project of the 'Great Golden Ring' macroterritory, investment sites under the federal project 'Land for Tourism', and the introduction of manor houses into economic circulation," said Olga Gremyakova, Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Tula Region.
At the region’s stand, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency and the tourism portal for road trips "Smorodina".
