Comprehensive development of the Tula region’s territories discussed at the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future"
On 19 September, as part of the exposition "Region-2030. Platform of the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA, a round table "Mechanism of Comprehensive Development of Territories" was held.
The meeting was attended by Maria Sinichich, Director of the Department for Comprehensive Development of Territories of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, heads of the Urban Planning division of DOM.RF, and representatives of regional and municipal authorities.
The moderator of the meeting, Igor Kazenny, Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Construction of the Tula Region, thanked the initiators and organisers of the exposition, as well as federal colleagues, for their time and their interest in the Tula region.
"The Governor of the Tula Region, Dmitry Milyaev, pays special attention to the comprehensive development of territories. During our discussions we made important conclusions, gained valuable experience, and took our methodology of comprehensive development to a higher level," summarised the deputy chairman.
In an open dialogue format, the participants discussed the implementation of the comprehensive development mechanism in the region. For 2025, the Tula region has been set an urban planning potential target of 9.4 million sq. m. At present, the potential of land plots brought into circulation for housing construction amounts to 9.335 million sq. m, including 1.45 million sq. m within the framework of comprehensive development projects.
Currently, 26 projects of comprehensive development of territories are being implemented in the region, with a total housing input of 1.45 million sq. m.
Maria Sinichich, Director of the Department for Comprehensive Development of Territories of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, noted that the region had done a great deal of work on the implementation of the mechanism of comprehensive development, which is already bringing significant results.
The first IET TALK, a discussion and educational platform of the International Ethnographic Triennial (IET), was held at the Zaraysk Kremlin.
The opening of the triennial is scheduled for 2030.
