A marriage ceremony according to Bashkir traditions was held at the RUSSIA EXPO. Zagir Safargalin and Yulia Suleymanova, students of the Ufa University of Science and Technology, specializing in Applied Mathematics and Informatics, were the main characters of the celebration. The loving hearts were united in front of numerous witnesses and guests on the Day of their native region at the RUSSIA EXPO.

The newlyweds were congratulated by the head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov, who handed them a certificate for an apartment in Ufa: "I congratulate the newlyweds. You are the embodiment of Bashkortostan - beautiful, young. We want you to be happy. There are more than 50 thousand families with many children in the Republic: we will be glad if you join them".

Another gift was made by the Directorate of the RUSSIA EXPO - together with the Moscow Tourism Committee it granted the newlyweds a sightseeing tour of the capital and hotel accommodation.

"Personally, I would like to wish you to carry in your heart the love for each other, for our Motherland, for the country!", — said the Head of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Education of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Olesya Malevannaya.

"When, submitting an application to the registry office, we learned that there was an opportunity to hold the ceremony at the RUSSIA EXPO, we, of course, immediately agreed. And we haven't regretted it!", — noted the bride Yulia Suleymanova. "It's really very cool here, it's a unique place!". — added groom Zagir Safargalin.

The marriage was officially registered and the guests were shown the basic rituals of a Bashkir wedding. These include meeting the parents of the bride and groom, the traditional gift of a towel to the matchmaker as a sign of consent, dressing the bride and groom in national wedding clothes, and farewell songs. There were also rites of giving honey and butter from the groom's mother to the bride - so the words of the newlywed will be soft and sweet, as well as the dance of the bride on a tray - to "dance the wealth".
