The legacy of the International RUSSIA EXPO will be preserved in the Russia National Centre. President Vladimir Putin announced this during a meeting with the organizers and staff of the RUSSIA EXPO.

"We have much to show and be proud of. But it is also important to present it beautifully and skillfully. And you have succeeded in this! Thank you very much! We have agreed to create the National Centre on the EXPO site; this has been decided. We will also be doing this in the regions of the Russian Federation. I would like it to be as vibrant as you have managed to do here,” said the President.

The Russia National Centre will permanently showcase expositions of our country's modern achievements in all fields. Additionally, it will motivate children and youth to master new professions. The National Centre will also assist in establishing branches in the country's regions.

"On this important Day of Love, Family and Fidelity, it is crucial for the Exposition family to grow. I propose establishing branches of the Russia National Centre in all regions of the Russian Federation. We are ready to pilot this if you assign us,” said the Governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, during the meeting with the President.

Previously, Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO, presented the concept of the National Centre of the same name. It will preserve the Exposition’s legacy and expand its work in all directions for the harmonious development of citizens. The presentation of the National Centre took place on June 4 during the interactive session "RUSSIA EXPO. Creating the Future", timed to coincide with Global Exhibitions Day.

"This innovative platform will not only showcase various achievements - we are creating a territory for dialogue and inspiration for new accomplishments in all areas of life. Undoubtedly, we will pay great attention to supporting the most daring dreams of children and youth, primarily in terms of self-realization," noted the director general of the RUSSIA EXPO.

Today, July 8, the RUSSIA EXPO concludes its work. Since November, it has been visited by more than 18.5 million people.

The International RUSSIA EXPO showcased the country's major achievements on a single platform. Throughout the Exposition, guests enjoyed cultural events, as well as a rich business and educational program. Expositions from 89 regions of Russia, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations were presented to visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO was held at VDNH in Moscow starting from November 4.

On July 1, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the Russia National Centre to preserve the Exposition’s legacy and demonstrate the country's achievements.
