Natalia Virtuozova: young people from around the world choose clothing featuring Vladimir Putin quotes
The National Centre RUSSIA stand at the International
Festival of Youth — 2026 in Yekaterinburg — its flagship Department Store
project — has attracted great interest from international guests, with some of
the products on display already sold out. The Director General of the National
Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, spoke about this on the sidelines of the
festival.
"For the International Festival of Youth, the National Centre RUSSIA
brought products from the best manufacturers across all regions of the country
to introduce international guests to Russia. The audience here is special —
there are a great many young people, and they are interested in everything.
Number one is clothing featuring quotes by President Vladimir Putin. Our
leader's statements are popular not only in Russia, but also among citizens of
other countries. We also brought nevalyashkas here, which were transformed into
'Chebulyashkas' for the International Festival of Youth. We did not expect them
to sell out so quickly," said the Director General of the National Centre
RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova.
She also said that guests enjoyed the National Centre RUSSIA
"Nevalyashki" art installation. Representatives of more than 100
countries took part in creating it. Everyone who wished to participate received
a sticker featuring their country's flag. They then placed it on a nevalyashka
and left their wishes for festival guests and participants.
At the National Centre RUSSIA stand, IFY-2026 guests are discovering the
culture and traditions of the country's regions and contemporary works by
artisans, as well as taking part in flash mobs and workshops on folk arts and
crafts.
The International Festival of Youth — 2026 is being held in Yekaterinburg from
11 to 17 September. The National Centre RUSSIA stand is operating from 13 to 16
September in the "Cultural Code" thematic space, bringing together
products from Russian manufacturers, traditional crafts, interactive projects and
venues for conversations about the future.
