The National Centre RUSSIA and JSC "Marka" agreed on joint work on the country’s visual code
A
memorandum on joint work to promote the visual image of Russia was signed by
the National Centre RUSSIA and the Joint Stock Company "Marka." The
parties exchanged signed copies of the document on 8 April as part of the
expert programme on architecture and urban planning "Looking into the
Future," organized at the initiative of the National Centre RUSSIA.
JSC
"Marka" is a publisher and distributor of state postal payment signs
and philatelic products with a unique design. Together with the National Centre
RUSSIA, the company plans to develop and implement a new visual style that
reflects Russia's sovereignty and leadership in the modern world, embodying its
unique history, culture, and traditions.
"The
National Centre RUSSIA is implementing very interesting projects, including the
expert programme 'Looking into the Future,' within which this memorandum was
signed. Russia certainly needs a cultural code, and work in this direction is
already underway. While it previously lacked formal structure, now it is precisely
formulated. Postage miniatures, which are designed on stamps, are also part of
the visualization. We hope that the National Centre RUSSIA will provide us with
ideas that we will promote, including through classic digital methods, such as
in the form of beautiful postcards with augmented reality," emphasized
Dmitry Panyshev.
The parties
particularly noted that the development of the current visual style for state
postal payment signs and philatelic products will take into account the
cultural characteristics and traditions of all the peoples of Russia, in order
to emphasize the unity and diversity of the country.
An interactive exposition titled "The Great and Mighty Russian Language" has opened at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On 7 and 8 October 2025, the National Centre RUSSIA will host unique culinary masterclasses as part of the programme of the "Inventing the Future" Symposium.
The event brought together 1,000 homeroom teachers and curators of secondary vocational education groups from 89 regions of the country and the city of Baikonur at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow.
