The National Centre RUSSIA welcomes Russian trade representatives from around the world
On 10 July, the National Centre RUSSIA welcomed a delegation of trade representatives of the Russian Federation serving in countries around the world. The visit took place as part of the Week of Trade Representatives programme, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the support of the Russian Export Centre. The annual event is designed to strengthen international trade ties, promote Russian exports to new markets, and showcase the richness and diversity of the country to colleagues working abroad.
The delegation was given a guided tour of the permanent "Journey Across Russia" exposition, which brings together the key landmarks, cultural traditions, achievements and distinctive features of all eight federal districts of the country. In just one hour, the trade representatives travelled virtually from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, discovering iconic regional destinations, learning about their development prospects and exploring some of Russia's most popular travel routes.
"The National Centre RUSSIA offers such an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of our country and gain a deeper understanding of its regions. The "Journey Across Russia" exposition is important not only for international visitors but, above all, for Russian citizens. It presents our nature, culture, traditional crafts, industrial strength and the extraordinary diversity that Russia has to offer. There is simply no other country like it. Here, you can reflect, discover something new, revisit memories and find inspiration. I believe that is the exposition's greatest achievement," said Irina Negrebetskaya, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia.
The "Journey Across Russia" exposition also made a strong impression on Konstantin Zlygostev, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan. He said the visit made him realise just how much of his own country he still needs to see, and gave him a renewed appreciation of Russia's unity and diversity.
"The impressions are simply extraordinary. I realised that at the very first opportunity I need to bring my family here and tell everyone about this exposition. Although I have had the chance to visit several regions during my trip, I now understand just how much more there is to discover in our country. A lifetime would hardly be enough to see it all. My sincere thanks to everyone who brought this exposition to life and, of course, to the country's leadership. It is truly unique. Standing here, you understand that our strength lies in our unity and that we are one great multinational people of our dear great Russia," said Konstantin Zlygostev.
The National Centre RUSSIA continues to introduce both Russian citizens and international visitors to the country's rich cultural legacy, traditions, achievements and remarkable diversity. The "Journey Across Russia" exposition is open year-round and can be visited free of charge as part of a guided tour. Visitors can register for a tour on the National Centre RUSSIA website.
