At the "Book of Fairy Tales" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA, a stand dedicated to the Ryazan region has been operating. It is designed as a walk through a magical winter forest, inspired by the unique "dancing forest" in Shilovo district of the Ryazan region. Its visitors get immersed in the fairytale atmosphere of ancient Ryazan — a land of craftsmen, heroes, and kind traditions, where interactive discoveries, such as "talking" books, a well of knowledge, a magic chest with predictions, and a meeting with Snezhanushka, the mascot of Ryazan, await them.
A special
place at the stand is given to the rich legacy of folk arts and crafts of the
Ryazan region — Skopin ceramics, Shilovo willow weaving, Mikhailov coloured
lace, and the unique "Kadomsky veniz" embroidery. All elements of the
stand unite history, crafts, and magic, creating a living fairy tale that invites
guests to get to know the Ryazan region more closely.
The city of
Ryazan has received the honorary status of the New Year capital of Russia 2026.
It is one of the oldest cities in the country — this year it turned 930 years
old. Here, cultural legacy is carefully preserved while a modern space for
living, creativity, and tourism is being created. Lybedsky Boulevard, located
within walking distance of the Ryazan Kremlin — a landmark architectural site
in the heart of the city — has become a centre of attraction for residents and
guests of Ryazan.
A window display named "From the Land of Creators" has opened at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA.
