The National Centre RUSSIA invites on a journey: Nalchik in the project "Fashionable Russia"
A new episode of the project "Fashionable Russia" is now available to watch. The latest release introduces viewers to Nalchik, the capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic — a city where traditions coexist with innovation to create a unique style.
In the new episode, the "Fashionable Russia" project tells stories that change the way the city is seen: an abandoned courtyard turned into Nalchik’s main art space; a local factory producing polymers for aviation and medicine and printing parts on 3D printers; an artist with a distinctive style stepping onto the international stage; and the traditional Circassian costume becoming a modern fashion trend. This journey proves that fashion is not only about clothing. It is about technology, art, the environment, and the people who transform the world around them.
The exposition "Journey Across Russia" at the National Centre RUSSIA makes it possible to see the whole country in miniature in just one hour, while the project "Fashionable Russia" takes you deeper into cities and regions — to their people, stories, and creative discoveries.
