Nguyen Duc Phuc will bring the legend of the Heavenly King of Phu Dong to "Intervision"
Vietnamese singer Nguyen Duc Phuc will represent Vietnam at
the International Music Contest "Intervision" with the song "Phu
Dong Thien Vuong". During the draw at the National Centre RUSSIA, he
picked a cup under number 20.
"I’m pleased with this result — I’m neither first nor
last. Number 20 feels just right, giving me plenty of time to prepare. This is
my first visit to Russia, and Moscow has made a wonderful first impression: the
weather is beautiful, and on the way to my hotel I admired the city’s stunning
architecture. The streets are wide, clean, and well-kept. Besides, I also
noticed banners announcing our performances along the way from the airport,
which shows that 'Intervision' is truly a major and meaningful event,"
said Duc Phuc.
The artist will present the song "Phu Dong Thien
Vuong" which is arranged in a modern electronic style and is inspired by
the mythological figure of the Heavenly King of Phu Dong village — a symbol of
spiritual strength and love for one’s homeland. His performance will be
accompanied by a dynamic stage show combining elements of traditional
Vietnamese culture with youthful energy.
Nguyen Duc Phuc was born in Hanoi in 1996. From an early
age, he was passionate about music, taking part in karaoke and school music
clubs. In 2015, he won the third season of the national talent show "The
Voice Vietnam". Today he is known for his vibrant pop and electronic
songs, which have gathered millions of streams across Asia and beyond.
