A new chapter in Russia's media sphere: all-Russian project TopBLOG launches its sixth season
05.12

The sixth season of the All-Russian project TopBLOG of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity" has officially commenced. It opens a new chapter in the development of the country's media community, bringing together authors who create meaningful content about life in Russia and socially significant topics. Participants will work on real state objectives in collaboration with federal agencies, take part in special tracks with partners, blog tours, and large-scale federal-level media projects. The project welcomes all talented and dedicated authors ready to grow in the media sphere. Registration is available on the project's website.

The opening of the sixth season of TopBLOG of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity" took place in Moscow at the VEB Centre venue, bringing together participants, bloggers, experts, and representatives of federal agencies, state corporations and media platforms – those who shape the public agenda and work with audience trust. The central event was the presentation of the new season, where through live performances, visual solutions and participant case studies, the key theme of the year – "Native Content" – was revealed.

Sergei Novikov, Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects, congratulated participants on the launch of the new season: "Over the past five seasons, 300,000 authors have passed through TopBLOG of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity". That means millions of publications and billions in media reach, and most importantly – people who know how to build trust with their audience and speak to them in the same language. Today, TopBLOG is not just a project, but a large-scale media community. It helps shape positive narratives, counter fakes, create a culture of trustworthy content, and promote Russian identity. I wish the participants success! Remember that you are the new voices of Russia, representatives of a great, multi-national country, and future media leaders. Let us continue to scale TopBLOG so that native content resonates across the entire country!"

In 2026, TopBLOG retains its core mission: it is a growth space for authors with varying levels of experience – from those just taking their first steps in media to those already building their own projects and working with an audience. Each participant receives their own development trajectory – from basic skills to systematic work with content and agenda. The project is shaping a new generation of authors who do not simply create content but work professionally with audiences and the media agenda.

Andrei Betin, Director General of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity" and Rector of the Senezh Management Workshop, noted: "TopBLOG is a space where authors who consciously work with words and audiences develop. The project's mission is to make socially significant content in demand by people and a benchmark for millions of them. Participants' stories about the country, our achievements, and our people extend far beyond Russia – they are watched, read, and looked up to. Such results are achieved through systematic work: at TopBLOG, authors learn to build communication with audiences, strengthen their projects, and develop in a professional environment of like-minded people. I am confident the new season will reveal names that prove: Russia is a country of limitless opportunities."

One of the key directions of the sixth season will be the educational track "Media Campus." This is a practice-oriented programme that builds a competency base for growth in the media environment – from content creation to personal brand development and audience expansion. It comprises five modules and covers the following topics: working with content and algorithms, developing a personal brand, audience growth tools, promotion strategies, as well as formats for interaction with the state and business. Each module is implemented with the participation of leading educational organisations, media platforms, industry partners and development institutions. The partner for the first educational module, registration for which is already open, is the Skolkovo Foundation.

Training at the "Media Campus" takes place online: video lessons, practical assignments, and feedback from experts. The competitive stage of the track begins at the end of August. Then, participants will present their own media products developed based on the knowledge gained, competing for a place in the final. Access to this stage will be granted to authors who have completed at least 60 percent of the educational programme and successfully passed the final test. Registration for the educational programme will remain open until the end of 2026.

The strategic track "Ministry of Content" is a first programme in Russia aimed at systematic interaction between the blogger community and state structures. It brings together authors and federal agencies to work on socially significant content and sets a new standard for communication in the digital environment.

The programme is implemented in partnership with the Senezh Management Workshop and federal ministries of the Russian Federation, including the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Applications for participation in the track will be accepted from 16 April to 9 June. The 1,000 strongest participants will have the opportunity to complete a further professional education programme at the Senezh Management Workshop, after which they will undergo final selection for the team stage. Following the selection, 180 bloggers will work together with federal ministries, creating media projects based on real state objectives. Participants will develop media projects in key sectors – from healthcare and education to industry, agriculture and tourism – and present them to representatives of federal agencies at the track's final.

The industry track named "Media Reactor," implemented jointly with the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, is aimed at training media leaders who will create and develop content about Russia's nuclear industry – from science and technology to career opportunities and the life of professional communities. At the outset, the track will be explored by representatives of nuclear industry communities: juniors, students and Rosatom youth; in the autumn, the programme will open to all interested parties.

The final of the sixth season of the TopBLOG project of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity" will take place in October at the Senezh Management Workshop, where the winners of 2026 will be determined. Participation in the new season of TopBLOG is open to those leading a blog on social networks permitted on the territory of the Russian Federation. Applications are accepted on the official website: topblog.rf. The project is implemented under the federal project "Russia – Land of Opportunity" of the national project "Youth and Children."

Earlier, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the results of the fourth season of the All-Russian project TopBLOG of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity". The winners of the country's first educational project for bloggers were 36 authors of socially significant content from 23 regions of Russia. The final events of the season, including the awards ceremony, took place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
