New themed week "Sporting Glory of Stavropol" invites guests of the RUSSIA EXPO
From June 18 to 23, the regional exposition at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow will host the new themed week "Sporting Glory of Stavropol".
Organizers have prepared a whole kaleidoscope of events for all ages. Exposition visitors will get acquainted with the main achievements of the region's sports industry, meet the best athletes and coaches from different generations and enjoy numerous autograph and photo sessions with Stavropol's stars of domestic sport.
Guests at the stand will be able to participate in masterclasses, quizzes and games. Winners will receive memorable prizes and souvenirs. For example, family certificates for gyms in Stavropol and the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters region will be raffled off.
"In recent years, the regional sports sector has made significant progress. We have a lot to show, and we want visit to our stand to be a real celebration. During the previous sports weeks in February and April, the Stavropol sports booth won the audience award as the most interesting and engaging with its interactive activities and raffles. The new program promises to be just as exciting. We invite everyone to visit!" said Boris Semenyak, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Stavropol region.
Stavropol is actively developing its sport and healthy lifestyle infrastructure. Thanks to national projects and directives from the region's head, Vladimir Vladimirov, new sports facilities are emerging, the material and technical base is being strengthened, more people are engaging in healthy lifestyles, and substantial support is being provided for youth, adaptive and professional sports.
As part of the regional project "Sport is the Norm of Life" under the national project "Demography", 1.4 million people, or 56.9% of the region's population, are regularly engaged in physical culture and sports in the Stavropol region.
The final of the 3rd National Film Award "Heroes of a Great Country" was held on 12 February at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The reality in which we and our children will live in the decades ahead is already being shaped today, including through the images of heroes on the cinema screen.
T-shirts, hoodies and caps are among the items worn even by senior state officials.
