New arrivals for the spring season: unique branded mules at the Department Store RUSSIA
The spring season at the Department Store of the National
Centre RUSSIA begins with bright new arrivals from Russian brands. The shelves
now feature mules from the Saint Petersburg label Razgulyaev Blagonravova and
the Kazan manufactory Sahtian. These are two different interpretations of how
tradition, art and comfort can come together in everyday fashion.
The brand Razgulyaev Blagonravova has presented a limited
collection of mules "Spring Breeze" at the Department Store RUSSIA.
The models are created in Saint Petersburg and are inspired by Russian
Impressionism and the motifs of awakening nature. A silk jacquard upper,
natural leather lining and insole, a neat 5 cm kitten heel and a soft pastel
palette — lavender, mint and peach — make these mules suitable for the office,
a walk in the city or an evening event.
Hand embroidery along the edge and accents with gold thread
emphasise the collectible nature of the pair. Each of the 50 pairs has its own
number, so the "Spring Breeze" mules are perceived not only as
comfortable footwear but also as a small art object. This continues the brand’s
signature approach — working in small batches while drawing on artistic motifs
and high-quality craftsmanship.
The "Kazan Spring" mules by the Sahtian company
bring Tatar national character to the collection of the Department Store. They
are created in Kazan and rely on the traditions of local leather craftsmanship
and techniques passed down from generation to generation. Soft natural leather,
silk lining, an anatomical insole and a flexible sole with an anti-slip coating
meet modern requirements for comfort.
The silhouette is inspired by historical examples of
national footwear and adapted to contemporary fashion: an open toe and heel, a
wide strap and a concise shape. The main decoration is hand embroidery with
silk, gold and silver threads featuring motifs of spring flowers and leaves.
Craftsmen use unique techniques, including the "Kazan stitch" and
leather mosaic, so each pair of mules effectively becomes a wearable work of
decorative and applied art.
Both new arrivals fit well into the concept of the
Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA as a space where contemporary
design is revealed through dialogue with craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
The mules by Razgulyaev Blagonravova and Sahtian complement the spring
assortment and will appeal to those who look for not only comfort in footwear
but also the story behind the brand.
Alongside the seasonal novelties, visitors to the Department
Store should also take a look at brands already popular with guests. Bags by
the Saint Petersburg brand The ROAD 737 will be particularly relevant this
spring: their concise design, thoughtful shapes and quality materials allow
them to look equally appropriate in city outfits and during travel. Accessories
by the brand Gorlitsa.Art continue the line of respect for tradition: goldwork
embroidery, delicate hand craftsmanship and motifs inspired by folk art give an
outfit a sense of contemporary luxury while preserving its connection with
Russian craftsmanship.
In Russia, the orientation towards larger families is strengthening: both the number of such families and the number of children in them are increasing.
