The successes of the Vologda industry will be shared at the International RUSSIA EXPO
The Vologda region will present the current developments of its industrial enterprises at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The region has noticeably succeeded in this sphere. As deputy governor Dmitry Gorbachev emphasized, the Vologda region is among Russia’s leaders in the production and rolling of steel, mineral fertilizers and mechanical engineering products.
"Our key industries: metallurgical and chemical production — have long been successful in the global ferrous metals and mineral fertilizer markets. "Severstal" and "PhosAgro" are the flagships of the economy-forming industries in the region, a kind of modern economic brands of the Vologda region", — Dmitry Gorbachev reminded.
The Vologda region is among the top twenty leaders in the country in terms of the volume of shipped industrial products per capita. Last year it ranked 12th in Russia and 4th in the North-West Federal District. The products of Vologda enterprises are also sold abroad. According to the results of 2022, they exported mainly chemical products, as well as ferrous metal goods. The largest partner countries of the Vologda region are India, Belorussia, China.
It is important that the industry is developing in all key directions. For example, mechanical engineering produces goods for various purposes. These are medical equipment, cranes and tank trucks, woodworking equipment, electronics, utility and agricultural machinery, and much more.
International RUSSIA EXPO will be held from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. About 70 objects of the VDNH will be used to host the exposition.
A guide to the main premiere of this spring has been prepared especially for the performance "Russian Seasons. Spring", which will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on 7 and 8 March.
