Udmurtia’s infrastructure will be covered at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Udmurt Republic will introduce its achievements in infrastructure development over the past five years, including new opportunities for tourists.
This was disclosed by the press service of the regional government. The changes were made possible thanks to the support of the federal center.
"The RUSSIA EXPO is a great event that will help to uncover the cultural and tourist potential of the region. We will demonstrate how you can comfortably drive along the repaired road to a modern park to take a walk there, and then go to a cool performance in the Udmurt theater", — noted in the press service.
Since 2017, the Udmurt Republic has repaired about 730 km of roads under the national project "Safe quality roads". Under the national project "Demography" 54 new kindergartens has been opened there. Since 2019, 918 courtyards, more than 50 parks, squares and walking areas have been equipped thanks to the federal project " Shaping a comfortable urban environment", and the national project "Culture" helped to reconstruct the Theater of Young Spectator.
"This is only a small portion of what we have done thanks to the national projects and support from Russian president Vladimir Putin and prime minister Mikhail Mishustin", — the press service added.
It also emphasized that the region retains its identity, while becoming more attractive to tourists, meeting modern quality standards.
