"A very in-depth analysis of global trends": Ruslan Kukharuk on the January Expert Dialogues
All the trends outlined by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin, during the January Expert Dialogues were analysed with great precision. This view was shared by the Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, Ruslan Kukharuk. He emphasised the importance of adapting regional development plans to current global changes.
"At events like this, you realise how important it is to define the strategy of our country and each individual region, to focus on the very processes taking place in the world and, most importantly, on the forecast presented today by Maxim Stanislavovich. All the global trends have been analysed very meticulously and in great depth," Ruslan Kukharuk said.
Maxim Oreshkin presented five megatrends that are already shaping the trajectory of global development for the coming decades. These include "The New Global Economic Paradigm: Globalisation 2.0", "Platformisation of the Global Economy and a New Level of Autonomy", "The Decline of Traditional Finance", "The Demographic Catastrophe after the Population Peak", and "Human Transformation in a New Technological Era".
The January Expert Dialogues were initiated by the National Centre RUSSIA in partnership with the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "The Third Rome", with the support of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation.

The expert addressed one of the megatrends shaping the economy of the future — "Platformisation of the Global Economy and a New Level of Autonomy".
According to the expert, there are "three forces" that help explain changes in the world of work — technology, longevity and the search for meaning in life.
