Open to everyone: the "Soul of Ryazan — Heart of Russia" exposition welcomes visitors
A branch of the National Centre RUSSIA opened in Ryazan on 5 October, becoming the first in the Central Federal District and the fourth in the country. The permanent exposition "Soul of Ryazan — Heart of Russia" has become the main attraction of the new venue. This interactive exposition explores the history, culture, people and achievements of the region and shows how its past is connected with its present and future.
The exposition presents the natural wealth of the Ryazan Region, folk traditions and crafts, the region’s history, its outstanding residents, military glory and modern achievements. Interactive technologies allow visitors not only to see the items, but also to become part of the experience by taking a virtual hot-air balloon flight, stepping aboard an aircraft and experiencing a realistic parachute jump.
"I really enjoyed the exposition. The 'parachute jump' was the most memorable part — I had never experienced anything like it before. It was also interesting to discover the different scents. The guided tour was highly unusual. Everything here is designed to make you see familiar things in a new way," said young visitor Vladislava Kozyreva, sharing her impressions of the exposition.
Particular attention is devoted to the modern face of the Ryazan Region: its
social and cultural projects, industry, education, science, sport and the
people who are developing the region today.
"It was truly magical and like a fairy tale. The venue is bright and very
modern, and you can feel how much effort has gone into it. Everything is very
beautiful and full of warmth. It makes you want to return again and again. I
will definitely be back, and I will be sure to bring my family and
friends," said exposition visitor Anatoly Lyapin.
"Soul of Ryazan — Heart of Russia" has become the centrepiece of the
new branch of the National Centre RUSSIA. During the opening days, the venue
hosted educational outreach events, business meetings and a ceremonial
programme. It will continue to host cultural, educational and business events,
becoming a modern and comfortable meeting place for residents of the region,
visitors and representatives of various fields.
The exposition is open to everyone. Guests can join a group tour or book an
individual guided tour. Tours are available from Tuesday to Sunday. The branch
of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Ryazan Region is located at 26 Oksky
Proyezd, Ryazan. Guided tours can be booked on the official website of the
branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Ryazan Region.
The Young Journalists School, a major original project of the National Centre RUSSIA, welcomes school and college students aged 12 to 17 from across the country.
