Pavlovo Posad shawls sparked special interest among delegates from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at the Department Store stand of the National Centre RUSSIA at INNOPROM 2025
On July 8, official delegations from the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar visited the stand of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA at the international industrial exposition INNOPROM 2025.
The distinguished guests were introduced to the concept of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA — a unique collection of goods from outstanding regional brands. Each item tells its own story — of artisans preserving traditions, of regions with their distinctive character, and of a contemporary interpretation of Russia’s cultural code.
The delegations were given a guided tour of the Department Store RUSSIA exposition. They explored folk crafts, refined accessories, natural cosmetics, and delicatessen products.
The Minister of Economy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar was particularly impressed by the collection of Pavlovo Posad shawls, captivated by their vibrant patterns and traditional motifs.
The UAE delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, in turn, praised the Department Store RUSSIA's kaleidoscope showcase, where each display cell presents goods from a specific Russian region.
Launched in November 2024, the "Department Store" project has already brought together over 160 manufacturers from 60 regions of the country. Upcoming plans include the opening of new branches in Vladivostok, Sevastopol, Krasnoyarsk, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra, and Ryazan region, further expanding the presence of Russian products on both domestic and international markets.
INNOPROM 2025 is taking place in Yekaterinburg from July 7 to 10, with organisational support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region.
The third day of the stand’s operation confirmed the growing demand for Russian goods.
The 2nd All-Russian Wedding Festival takes place at the National Centre RUSSIA on July 8-10. The Sorlin and Moiseenko families who have many children became the guests of honor.
