Flame of the Family Hearth went to the Far East regions
The regions
of the Far East received the flame of the All-Russian Family Hearth, which was
lit yesterday at the International RUSSIA EXPO within the framework of the Dear
- Loved Ones forum. The ceremony of handing over the icon-lamps with the flame took
place on the exposition site, it was attended by Zhanna and Vladislav
Fedorov-Ksenofontovs from the Republic of Sakha - Yakutia, whose marriage was
concluded in November here at VDNH.
To the
accompaniment of Yakut musical ensembles Gulun and Ennekeen, they handed over
symbols of family prosperity to representatives of all regions of the Far
Eastern Federal District.
"The
first time we were at the RUSSIA EXPO in November, we did not have the
opportunity to see the whole exposition. When we were invited for the second
time, we saw all the pavilions in two days, and now we understand very well how
important is the role of the RUSSIA EXPO and its events, including those
related to the opening of the Year of the Family, for the country. The latter
is especially pleasing, because the opportunity to build a strong healthy
society is directly connected with the relationships within Russian
families," emphasized Zhanna and Vladislav at the end of the ceremony.
The lighting of the All-Russian Family Hearth was the culmination of the Dear - Loved Ones forum, which was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The fire for the hearth was brought from the Holy Trinity Monastery in Murom. It was delivered to the Exposition by the Terentyev family - Mikhail and Ekaterina have been married for 25 years and are raising six children. The honor to light the main hearth of the country went to the Kuznetsov family from Crimea, who recently celebrated their Ruby wedding - 40 years of life together.
The All-Russian Family Forum Dear - Loved Ones opened the Year of the Family in Russia, announced by Vladimir Putin's decree. The forum events are aimed at bringing together dynasties from all over the country, dialog of generations and co-creation of children and adults. The forum is organized by the Russian Society "Knowledge", Movement of the First, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Labour of Russia), and the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"».
