By decision of the President, a Special Military Operation fighter came to the All-Russian Wedding Festival at the National Centre RUSSIA to attend his sister’s wedding
A touching story happened on the first day of the 2nd
All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts." Diana
Donova from the Krasnoyarsk Territory
had the biggest dream that came true on the day of her wedding ceremony at the
National Centre RUSSIA. On that day, next to her stood her brother, a senior
rifleman of the motorized rifle troops who has been serving in the Special
Military Operation Zone. Having learned about the upcoming ceremony, Russian
President Vladimir Putin decided to give the fighter a short-term vacation
specifically for this important family event.
Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential
Administration of the Russian Federation, told the audience that the order of
the country's Supreme Commander-in-Chief was executed. He added that Head of
state had let the fighter go on vacation so that he could bless and
congratulate the young couple in person.
For Diana and her husband, presence of a dear brother on
such an important day was an invaluable gift, and for all the guests of the
festival it was a reminder of true values.
The 2nd All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting
Hearts", which takes place on July 8-10 at the National Centre RUSSIA,
brought together more than 200 couples from all over the country. Each of these
couples has been writing their own unique story of love and family happiness.
An eventful three-day program awaits participants and guests. There will be
themed public talks about family relationships and wedding traditions,
gastronomic shows with tastings of wedding cuisine traditional for the peoples
of the country, workshops on creating traditional family charms, concerts by
pop artists, an exposition of wedding costumes, and much more.
Admission
to the festival is free of charge upon prior registration on the website russia.ru.
The All-Russian Youth SHUM Award in the field of media and journalism, which will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA, extends the application deadline until 24 August.
On 7 September at 16:00, in the capital of the Primorye region — the city of Vladivostok — a ceremonial opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will take place.
