Monday is a maintenance day at the National Centre RUSSIA
There will be one maintenance day at the National Centre RUSSIA next week — 19 January. The venue will reopen to visitors on Tuesday, 20 January.
On this day, the team will focus on an important mission: making every visit as comfortable, safe and memorable as possible. Specialists will carry out equipment checks, update the expositions and perform scheduled maintenance across all interactive and visitor areas.
Please plan your visit to the National Centre RUSSIA in advance.
Opening hours for the coming week:
— 19 January — maintenance day;
— from 20 January, the National Centre RUSSIA will welcome visitors again on its regular schedule, 10:00–20:00.
We invite you to discover new facets of Russia. At the exposition "Journey Across Russia", guests can explore the history and landmarks of all federal districts, sample the best regional dishes at the Gastronomic Rows, and gain a wealth of useful knowledge and positive impressions.
We also invite you to the travelling exposition "Book of Fairy Tales", which will run at the National Centre RUSSIA until 1 March. The exposition draws on legends, crafts and fairy-tale archetypes of Russian folk culture. Through an "open book" of regions, visitors enter the Library — the Firebird Treasure House, a space of rare wonders featuring museum and craft objects from participating regions, gathered like curiosities from its symbolic collection.
More than 12,000 people saw the production live, while the online version was watched by over 3.5 million viewers.
As part of the first celebration of Artist’s Day at the National Centre RUSSIA, state awards were presented to cultural figures.
