On Monday, 3 August, the National Centre RUSSIA will be closed to visitors. Regular maintenance Mondays have been introduced to allow for scheduled servicing and preparation of the venue for the week ahead.

During the maintenance day, specialists will inspect the multimedia equipment, update elements of the expositions and fine-tune the interactive installations. These scheduled maintenance days are now part of the ongoing operational programme of the National Centre RUSSIA, helping to maintain the highest standards of service and safety throughout all exposition halls and visitor areas, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for every guest.

The National Centre RUSSIA will reopen on Tuesday, 4 August, operating as usual from 10:00 to 20:00. Visitors are invited to explore the new large-scale "Legacy. Theatre. The Greats" exposition, marking the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation. Opened on 28 July, the exposition reveals how theatrical productions come to life, introduces visitors to the people who work both on stage and behind the scenes, and uncovers little-known chapters in the history of Russian theatre. Admission is free, and visitors can explore the exposition with an audio guide or as part of a guided tour, available with advance registration on the russia.ru website.

Visitors can also enjoy the permanent "Journey Across Russia" exposition every day except Mondays. This large-scale project showcases the culture, traditions and landmarks of all Russia's federal districts. Guided tours are available from 10:00 to 20:00.

The Gastronomic Rows, featuring regional cuisine, and the Department Store RUSSIA, offering products from local brands and traditional folk crafts, are also open to visitors.

Admission to all expositions and events at the National Centre RUSSIA is free of charge. Advance registration is required for selected events. Please check the latest programme on the russia.ru website and on official social media channels of the National Centre RUSSIA.
