Victory Ambassador from Samara won a "Routes of Victory" tour from the National Centre RUSSIA
Volunteer
Alexander Nikitin from Samara became the winner of the contest held by the
National Centre RUSSIA and received a travel certificate under the "Routes
of Victory" programme. Alexander is taking part in the All-Russian rally
"Ambassadors of Victory," the official opening of which took place on
May 6 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The
historical tours, dedicated to the heroism of those who fought in the Great
Patriotic War, are organised by the National Centre RUSSIA in cooperation with
the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo." Director General of the
National Centre RUSSIA Natalia Virtuozova noted that Alexander was selected at
random during the registration of volunteer participants of the rally.
"We
awarded the first certificate for the 'Routes of Victory' to one of our
volunteers — Alexander, who is taking part in the 'Ambassadors of Victory'
rally at the National Centre RUSSIA. My heartfelt congratulations to him! This
is not just a trip, but a journey through the most important pages of history —
a history that everyone should experience," said Natalia Virtuozova.
The prize
includes a two-day tour of Moscow and the Moscow region for two people. The
programme features a visit to the National Centre RUSSIA, where the travellers
will explore the key achievements, innovative developments, as well as the
cultural, natural, and historical landmarks of all federal districts of the
country at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition.
The guests
will also enjoy a sightseeing tour of Moscow, including the Moscow Cable Car, a
visit to the grounds of the Moscow Kremlin, a walk through Red Square,
Alexander Garden, and Zaryadye Park, a visit to the Museum of Music, a tour of
the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill, an introduction to the "Road of
Memory" complex, and a visit to the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed
Forces.
According
to Alexander, he plans to take the trip in September with his mother. The
volunteer said that winning the contest was a surprise for him.
"We
arrived, the teams registered. I thought it would just be the opening and then
the educational programme. But then they told me there would be a surprise. I
received a certificate for a trip to sites of glory of the Great Patriotic War.
I think this format helps young people connect more deeply with history.
Because you see historical places with your own eyes. Today’s youth spend a lot
of time online, where the history of the Great Patriotic War is often
distorted. It’s important to show what the real history was," Alexander
Nikitin emphasised.

The
official opening of the annual All-Russian rally "Ambassadors of
Victory" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 6. The ceremony
marked the launch of the programme, within which 200 volunteer winners of the
competition from different regions of Russia arrived in Moscow to assist during
the Victory Parade on Red Square, as well as other commemorative events. The
volunteers will support veterans, help with visitor navigation, and handle
various organisational tasks. In 2025, the rally "Ambassadors of
Victory" has become an especially significant event due to the celebration
of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
The festive concert of the Chinese-Russian children's and youth choir "Hand in Hand!" will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 10 May.
