Thematic days of the Apsheronsky, Mostovsky and Labinsky districts will be held from January 26 to 28.
“Throughout January, at the RUSSIA EXPO our region presents the thematic slot “Recreation all year round - active types of tourism, ski resorts, health holidays.” The program was opened by Sochi as the leading resort area of the region. During the week, the potential of the country's main resort for year-round recreation was presented as vividly as possible. But the picture of our region’s capabilities in this direction would be incomplete without our foothill territories, which also provide excellent opportunities for recreation and wellness in winter and in the off-season,” said Mikhail Zaritsky, Acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar region.
A series of presentations of the tourism potential of foothill territories will be opened on January 26 by the Apsheronsky district. Guests will be treated to videos and gifts. Visitors will receive guides and calendars, and will take part in masterclasses and thematic quizzes.
On January 27, the Mostovsky district will take over the baton. The video presentations will be complemented by an exposition of the Krasnodar regional environmental public organization Center for Underwater Research and the spa complex Silicon Terme. Young visitors will be attracted by masterclasses, and everybody can wait for quizzes and gifts from local organizations and artisans.
January 28 is Labinsky District Day. A lottery and women's flanking performances will be prepared for the guests, they will also be treated to Labinsky Cossack tea and taught how to make handicrafts. The object of attraction will be a photo zone with elements of Cossack costumes and an exposition-presentation prepared by the Laba sanatorium.
The thematic month will end with a presentation of ski resorts. The Days of Krasnaya Polyana will be held on January 30 and 31. Ski-passes and certificates for accommodation at the resort will be raffled off.
