The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska visited the RUSSIA EXPO

A delegation of the Narodna Skupština (National Assembly, parliament) of the Republika Srpska, headed by its Chairman Nenad Stevandić, visited the RUSSIA EXPO. The guests toured the Exposition's displays, including the stands of the regions.

The delegation members were particularly interested in the wish-fulfilling Buddhist drum Kyurde at the stand of the Republic of Kalmykia - one rotation of the drum with pure thoughts is equivalent to reading aloud all the prayers placed in it. Nenad Stevandić assured that there can be no other thoughts but pure ones at the RUSSIA EXPO and in Russia itself.

"We express our deep gratitude to the organizers who gave the delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska the opportunity to visit the RUSSIA EXPO and, albeit briefly, to get acquainted with the 89 regions of the Russian Federation. We certainly would not have had such an opportunity to visit all these regions during one trip, to learn so much information about them, both in terms of culture and preservation of natural and other riches," emphasized Nenad Stevandić.

"We had a great pleasure visiting the RUSSIA EXPO. We would like to say that those who come here and see all these achievements will recognize Russia from a different side, not the one with which it is now presented in the world. Thank you very much for this!" he also noted.

A day earlier, the Speaker of the Narodna Skupština addressed the plenary session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, where he congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his election victory and recalled the long-standing and close ties between the Russian and Serbian peoples. On the same day, Nenad Stevandić had a meeting with the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, where an agreement on cooperation between the two legislative bodies was signed.
