Representatives of labor dynasties working in the congress and exposition industry talked about their experience
Representatives
of labor dynasties working in the congress and exposition industry took part in
the talk show "Simple, Family-style". They spoke how to work with
relatives in this sphere and find a balance in relations with their families.
Exhibition
companies are often inherited from generation to generation, said Daria
Bulanova, CEO of Uzorochye company. Her father started working in the industry
in 2002.
"Our
main activity is the organization of Orthodox expositions. Four years ago I
became the head of the company. My sister works in the customer service
department. Our brother also works in the company. And the accountant is my
sister's husband. My family supports me. I would like our younger generation to
continue the business in which we have invested so much," said Daria
Bulanova.
Andrei
Levitan, CEO of Expo-Volga company, was given an example of working in the
industry by his mother. According to him, at that time he was
"orphaned" because she spent a lot of time organizing events. After
20 years, he came into the business on his own.
"For
22 years now, I have been organizing about 20-25 expositions every year. It's
all thanks to my mom," said Andrei Levitan.
The talk
show was held as part of the celebration of Global Exhibitions Day, which is
celebrated on June 4. The program included thematic sessions devoted to event
tourism, the history of exhibitions in Russia and other topics. In particular,
event industry leaders shared their personal stories of success in the
profession. Besides, lectures and master classes were organized for Exposition
guests.
