President of the UNESCO General Conference visits the National Centre RUSSIA
Russia is the largest country in the world, and it is very difficult for anyone to travel across it in its entirety. This opinion was shared by Khondker Mohammad Talha, President of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference during his visit to the National Centre RUSSIA, where he explored the "Journey Across Russia" exposition. The guest noted that the exposition offers a rare opportunity to experience the cultural and natural diversity of the world's largest country within a short period of time.
"Being at the National Centre RUSSIA is an amazing experience. Russia is the largest country in the world, and it is very difficult for anyone to travel all around it. I think even many Russians themselves have not done so. But this exposition offers a 'small encounter' with different parts of the country. It is very useful both for foreign visitors and for local residents who have not travelled to other regions. It is a mosaic of cultures, and you can see them all in one place. It is truly a very enjoyable experience," said the international guest.
Speaking about the National Centre RUSSIA, Khondker Mohammad Talha also
highlighted its uniqueness in the global context: "I do not think many
countries have projects like this. Not every country has the same diversity as
Russia: different ethnic groups, regions, geography and historical landscapes.
The National Centre RUSSIA makes it possible to see and reflect on all of this.
I hope this project will continue to develop, further strengthening
understanding of Russian history, literature and culture."
How the classics understood love and why it is worth returning to them today will be discussed by participants in the open dialogues "Forms of Love: Literature and Art" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
