President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin visited the International RUSSIA EXPO for the fifth time
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has
arrived at the International RUSSIA EXPO for the fifth time. Today, he is
meeting with Exposition staff and participants of the "It's in Our
Family" contest, part of the presidential platform "Russia — Land of
Opportunity".
"We have much to show and be proud of. But it is also important to present it beautifully and skillfully. And you succeeded in that! Thank you very much! We agreed that we will establish the National Centre on the EXPO grounds, this is decided. We will also be doing this in the regions of the Russian Federation. I would like it to be as vibrant as you have managed to do, " said the President.
The Head of State has visited the Exposition several times
before. On December 4, he acquainted himself with the "First in Russia —
Land of Opportunity" exposition. On December 17, the President inspected
the regional stands in Pavilion No. 75. On January 23, Vladimir Putin
inaugurated the Year of the Family in Russia at the RUSSIA EXPO. On February 1,
Vladimir Putin met with participants of the Movement of the First Congress.
On July 8, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, the RUSSIA
EXPO will conclude its work. Visitors will enjoy the All-Russian Family Parade
and the gala concert "We Are Millions", headlined by The Hatters. At
22:00, the Exposition will officially close.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcased the country's major
achievements on a single platform. Throughout the Exposition, guests enjoyed
cultural events, as well as a rich business and educational program.
Expositions from 89 regions of Russia, leading federal agencies, corporations
and public organizations were presented to visitors. The Exposition was
attended by over 18 million people. The International RUSSIA EXPO was held at
VDNH in Moscow starting from November 4.
On July 1, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to
establish the Russia National Centre to preserve the Exposition’s legacy and
demonstrate the country's achievements.
By order of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Mikhail Kotyukov, the recognizable appearance of the exposition and its key displays have been recreated.
The National Centre RUSSIA is presenting a new project — the podcast series "Tell Me About Victory."
