Applications for the "Family Values Laboratory" extended until 1 September
Due to strong interest in the project, applications for the "Family Values Laboratory" have been extended until 1 September. The four-day programme will be held from 22 to 25 September at the National Centre RUSSIA. Families from different regions of the country will develop their own projects aimed at promoting family values. The project is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
Applications are coming in from across the country. Patrick Ronald Ejacha Achekwa, a Cameroonian with a Russian soul from the Moscow Region, has decided to take part in the project. He creates channels about the life of a foreigner with a Russian soul in Russia and about his international family. He runs the video project "Russia Through Patrick's Eyes", whose slogan is: "Travelling with children is not difficult, and travelling around Russia with children is actually a real pleasure." The project's mission is to demonstrate through personal experience that children make the best travel companions and to show the real Russia beyond its capitals: its people, nature, food and stories.
Potential participants include Maxim Alexeyev from the Rostov Region, the author of a blog about modern fatherhood and relationship psychology. His format is short videos exploring what a father should be: present, true to his word and leading by example.
Blogger Anna Tronina from the Udmurtian Republic shares stories about life in a large family. She inspires her audience to have children and build strong families. Her main format is a series of short vertical videos entitled "Wouldn't It Be Nice". Her aim in taking part is to bring the project to a nationwide audience.
Anna Malikova from the Tyumen Region has decided to take part in the project. She runs the "Krugovorot" Family Theatre Laboratory. During the Laboratory, she plans to share her work, receive feedback on how to improve and develop it, and explore ways of replicating the idea.
Dmitry Gribkov from the Kostroma Region is an individual entrepreneur and the creator of the Interregional Family History Festival "All This Is Mine, My Own!". He is working to expand the festival and make it one of Russia's most recognisable family projects. He believes that the "Family Values Laboratory" could help him achieve this.
Using the skills she gains from taking part in the Laboratory, Alexandra Osipova plans to develop her local project, the "Irkutsk Mothers' Club". The club offers psychological support, postnatal recovery and personal development programmes.
Zhanna Spetsialnaya from the Krasnodar Territory and her team have created the "We.Harmony" app, designed to reduce the number of divorces and strengthen families. It enables couples to develop shared habits, keep a calendar of important dates and create wish lists. Zhanna Spetsialnaya believes that taking part in the Laboratory will give her additional opportunities to develop the project.
Married couples who already run a blog or organise themed events, as well as those planning to do so, are eligible to take part in the project. Following an expert selection process, the best applicants will meet at the National Centre RUSSIA. There, they will develop their own initiatives under the guidance of experienced mentors, including executives from leading media platforms, bloggers and content creators. The most successful projects will receive support from the partners of the "Family Values Laboratory".
