Primorye in figures: achievements of the region to be showcased at the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA
The Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will serve not just as an exposition venue, but as a vivid reflection of Primorye’s dynamic progress. In recent years, the region has made a major leap forward — a shift that can be seen in statistics, infrastructure improvements and the quality of life of its residents.
Region of Opportunities: Primorye in National Projects
Since 2019, the Primorye region has been actively engaged in the implementation of 13 national projects, which have brought tangible improvements to the region. These large-scale transformations have impacted all areas of life — from urban infrastructure to remote settlements — significantly enhancing living standards in Primorye.
Transport infrastructure has become safer and more convenient: more than 700 kilometres of roads have been renovated, including key routes such as Vladivostok – Artyom and Spassk-Dalny – Varfolomeyevka. Modern lighting, road markings, new bus stops and pedestrian crossings have been introduced.
In the social sphere, 43 facilities have been built or renovated — schools, kindergartens, feldsher-midwife stations, cultural centres and water supply stations. Another 21 facilities will be commissioned by the end of 2025.
Housing construction is progressing at an accelerated pace: since 2019, 4.5 million m² of housing has been delivered, and more than 100,000 m² of housing has been replaced as part of the resettlement programme. At the same time, over 640 public spaces have been improved — from small-town parks to embankments and central streets.
Culture, Healthcare, Environment: Investing in the Future
The national project "Culture" has transformed the region: 31 cultural centres have been renovated, 5 new ones have been built; 25 art schools have been modernised; 12 model libraries and 4 virtual concert halls have been opened; and 8 mobile cultural centres now travel to remote areas.
Healthcare has become more high-tech: 15,251 units of medical equipment have been procured, including CT scanners and mobile units; 23 mobile feldsher-midwife stations and 7 Health Trains operate in rural areas, providing diagnostics on site.
Environmental protection is another key priority: 340 hectares of forest have been restored; 6 waste sorting facilities have been built; 230 pieces of firefighting equipment have been purchased; and by 2025, 23 drones will be deployed in forestry for monitoring purposes.
Economy and Tourism: Growth Across the Board
Primorye is actively expanding its international economic ties: in 2023, 1,923 export support services were provided; 131 foreign trade agreements were signed; and the region rose from 56th to 19th place in the federal export ranking.
The tourism industry is also demonstrating steady growth: budget revenues from the sector increased 1.5 times; the Primorye Monsoons Festival attracted 140,000 visitors in 2024; and new routes and destinations are being developed.
New Horizons: 11 Projects for the Coming Years
Starting from 2025, Primorye is joining 11 new national projects, including:
- "Family" (RUB 4.6 billion in support, including the regional maternity capital);
- "Long and Active Life";
- "Digital Environment";
- "Environmental Well-Being."
The National Centre RUSSIA: A Mirror of Achievements
These accomplishments will be presented in an engaging, interactive format at the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA. Visitors will not only see the statistics, but also experience how Primorye is changing — through gastronomy and the flavours of local products, through crafts and the works of artisans preserving traditions, through technology and the region’s digital and innovative services.
It is a place where regional identity meets nationwide goals, and where the past seamlessly intertwines with the future.
Let us remind you that the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA is set to open in early September. The venue will feature an interactive regional exposition, a local goods department store, a gastronomy zone and a co-working space. It will also serve as a platform for hosting business and socially significant events.
Starting tomorrow, July 29, due to renovation work in pavilions No. 3, 4, 7 and at the Western entrance of pavilion No. 7, the access scheme to the National Centre RUSSIA will be temporarily changed.
On July 28, World Nature Conservation Day is observed across the globe — a reason to look at Russia’s natural wealth with fresh eyes.
The large-scale architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale" at the National Centre RUSSIA is coming to an end — the final day is July 30.
